Restrictions

Restrictions and feature limitations:
ofcdesk cad does not allow the installation of plug-ins.
AutoCAD® OEM contained in ofcdesk cad is similar to AutoCAD® sold by Autodesk, with the exception of the following features:

• 2D - Drawing State: It is not possible to apply a password to a DWG file.
• 3D - Draw / Edit: Selection of sub-entities for editing by icons or command is not allowed. It does not display the "3D Modeling" tab in the options window.
• 3D - Render: "Persistent Shade" is not supported. 3D Orbit is supported with the "flat-shading" option.
• Application control: "Working Support File Search Path" option in the "Files" tab of the options window cannot be displayed.
• Database connectivity: The "Data Sources Location" in the "Files" tab of the options window does not display. The "dbConnect Options" in the "System" tab of the options window do not display.
• Internet: "Default Internet Location" option in the "Files" tab of the options window does not display. "i-drop" is not supported. It does not support JavaScript.
• Visual Lisp: Scripts written in Visual LISP are not supported.

Updates

Updates and new releases are included for the first year. After this period, the subscription is US$ 1,300.00 per year.

When you purchase your license, you receive automatic updates and new releases for one year. During this year, if a new version is released, you will receive it at no additional cost. 12 months after your purchase, we will offer you a subscription renewal at the current renewal value (for renewals in 2024, the value is US$ 1,300.00). This renewal is optional, but recommended, to ensure your product is up-to-date. For example: When you purchase the license on 05/31/2024, you are entitled to receive all new versions released until 05/31/2025. During the month of May 2025, we will offer you, the renewal at the current cost, to ensure benefits until May 2025. If you choose not to renew, you will continue with your existing license, but you will not receive new updates or support.
